I faced Haggai with tears then bowed lowly.
"I'm sorry, I'm still in love with Michael, I really wanted to give us a chance, I really do like you Haggai but I'm just not in love with you, my heart had always belonged to Michael," I said lowly as I stood upright.
He moved closer and touched my cheek gently.
"I clearly had a chance with you then but I had to much pride, I was so blinded by power that I hurt you and messed up big time, I really love you, Bella, with all my heart, I want to keep you with me and kill the vampire, but as much as I would love to do that, I want you to be happy and your happiness lies with him not me," he said as he kissed my forehead then stepped backwards.
