Jade knew Jared knew her weakness for food. He was doing this purposefully to trap her, and even though her brain had warned her against this entrapment, Jade couldn't help it. She sat down with a stomp and pulled the white china plate with irises around the edges towards her. The plate looked fragile, easily broken and if she wanted, she could throw it straight at his head. She would have loved to do that, as well, but... she would rather eat on the plate than throw it.
