"And Jared, I am sorry. I lied." Jade said, looking away from him. There was something there in her eyes, something like guilt and remorse. Something he hadn't seen in a while in her face. Why was she asking sorry? What did she lie about? Why was she feeling guilty? Even when he had accused her of infidelity, she hadn't looked at him with guilt.
