Chapter 30: When We Burned Brighter
(Flashback - a few weeks after the second kiss, when Jared paid an exorbitant 20 bucks for a kiss)
Jade was sitting in the library with Megan when Jared walked in. He put five bucks on the table and pulled her up with a teasing smile on his gorgeous face. This had been going on for three weeks now, the kisses. When he wanted kisses from her, he would pay her and when she wanted it, she would pay him money, but since she was a little cheap, she would wait mostly, because it wouldn't take more than two days before he came back for another one of her kisses.
