Chapter 62. Heart to Hearts

"You are scaring him, Jade. Our son is still here and you shouldn't-"
Jade knew he was right, but she just didn't know how to control her anger. Cole left her to look for him. She knew Cole was just a kid, but then... the envy she had felt, along with the fear, it was enough to make her burn in anger and it made her irrational.
"Our son? Our son? The hell. He is mine. My son." She hissed under her breath.
"Stop. I know you are angry, but Cole is scared. You shouldn't be screaming like a banshee right now and just- just go and hug him." He said. It looked like he was almost at the verge of snapping, too, but unlike her, he was keeping her cool and it was strange to see.
