ASHLYNN POV I started forward, dodging a hex from one nasty looking b***h before I sent her flying through the air. I barely had time to notice where she landed another dark creature lunged for me. Its claws sliced through the air where my head had been a heartbeat earlier. I ducked beneath the attack and drove a blast of purple magic into its chest. The impact sent it flying backward through two more creatures before crashing into the remains of a stone fountain… but it didn't stay down.
