Things change. Things die. Things continue on as if nothing happened. It hurts, it throbs, you ache. But life continues on. Raven had to keep telling herself this every day. Living in Titans Towers without Beast Boy felt like living without the sun. Raven felt...dark. She had completely shut down. She was only good for missions and meditating lately. She knew the moment Beast Boy told her, he loved her, in that way, he had meant it. It was in his eyes, on his face. That aching realization that he had loved her hurt her soul. And now he was gone. And the entire team felt like s**t for the longest. Robin felt like less of a leader letting Cyborg take over for a while. Starfire guilty as ever as well was barely able to fly much in missions. They were less crafty in surprise attacks with Beast Boy gone, some criminals had escaped. Robin was getting heat from the Justice League and Cyborg was getting more moody and snappy than usual. He was kicking himself for what he let happen to Beast Boy. He had seen the little green monster as his kid brother since he was up to his knees. Mostly because he was the first one to not look at him like he was a freak. The little dude had been smart and courageous and had been a breath of innocence for the longest. And they all had a hand in crushing it instead of being a source of good for each other. For him. And in doing so, none of them felt the same about themselves. But it was Raven who went through it the most.  She slept in his old bed. His scent gone, his presence erased and replaced with hers. She missed him, she missed it. She wanted to scream she was so pissed. She had done this to her self.  If only she hadn't listened to him... 'Love is weak!' Trigon roared. If only she hadn't trusted him... Malchior caressed her cheek. She would have listened to heart telling her how much she needed the sweet green boy who found someway to find HER appealing. Moody, bitchy, sending you to another dimension while she's on her period, Her.  She was an i***t.  And now he was gone from her life.  Hearing the sirens stirring her from her depressing musings Raven groaned. Leaving his bed, she turned to look at the green sheeting and whimpered in honestly torn with leaving the only place she wanted to be. Flying to the common room, she looked at a stressed Robin. "Slade...he's back."  Raven shook her head right off the gate, "f**k no!! We're not prepared to take him on! We're s**t right now, we should call some other Titans first!" Robin scowled at her, "Raven don't start with that right now! Just get angry at him."  Raven huffed, "I'll kill him." Robin shrugged not fazed by the truth, "Don't care, no one will."  Cyborg scoffed, "We're murdering now? Come the f**k on man this is ridiculous." Starfire bit her bottom lip, she wanted to agree but she didn't want to side against Robin. "We have to. They say he gets the Diamond of Urls he's going to try to build a nuclear weapon. He'd take over the PLANET in a day." Starfire sighed, "We must then." Cyborg didn't like it, but they agreed. So they ran out of the common room, got geared up and rushed into the seedier part of Jump City. Littered with thugs, common thieves, and moving shadows it wasn't a well-populated place for a nice suburban family.  The team got to the warehouse and went in at the ready. Robin went around a large dusty machine as Starfire was ungracefully flying.  Cyborg moving slow as he got a horrible feeling in his censors.  "Titans." Hearing Slade's cool voice, they all turned to see him standing on a large machine, "Slade." Robin said casually. Robin c****d his head to the side, "Why come back? What could you possibly need here so badly?" Slade sighed, "Don't play dumb. Besides, you have no chance to defeat me...you're missing your strongest component." Raven glared at him making him chuckle mockingly, "Terra whined to me about his "obsessive longing" of you. That poor boy didn't even realize...you're not something capable of love."  Raven's eyes turned red, "You know nothing about me." Slade stiffened as the world seemed to shake. But he hid his fear behind his mask and jabbed instead,"Careful little girl...you're demon side is showing," Raven smirked as her eyes became red and she grew in size, the other's backed up fearfully seeing her so...evil.  "My demon is showing? Good. Let it show." Raven said her voice seemingly multiplied. Slade's eyes widened in horror as Raven began to stripe of him sanity, of will, of thought, of movement. Of everything. When he was nothing left but a shell of a man, men came rushing out in light purple robes, "Kill the demon! Kill her!" They held up old mirrors chanting old verses. Raven seemed to fall into herself.  Her mind stuck in this violet room, only in her white leotard, Raven looked down at her father's sigils appearing on her skin.  As the team tried to stop them. They were immediately shot with tranquilizer darts so they could be taken.   Feeling pins and needles in her blood, her body shutting down, Raven screamed for the one person she needed the most. "BEAST BOY!" Suddenly she was in a bedroom, the air cool on her skin, her long hair falling around her in waves. Looking to the sexy green abs on display Raven chuckled softly in shock, "Beast Boy?" Beast Boy jerked awake and his eyes widened seeing Raven in her white leotard, her long hair falling down her back as she smiled at him happily. "Oh s**t it's another one of those f*****g nights. Great." He grumbled pissed reaching for his draw. Raven laughed in shock, "Oh my god! I'm...I'm so happy to see you! And you f*****g perv!" Beast Boy jerked up and looked at her shocked, "What...the f**k?! You're really here?" Gasping as her body seemed to flash a light purple glow Raven sniffled in pain, "Beast Boy...just know we weren't the same without you. We f****d up everything...you were the glue of the team... and I never took it off."  Holding up the last present he gave her, the onyx raven necklace Beast Boy grabbed her arms when she yet again glowed but screamed out in pain. "What's happening to you!?" Raven told him that the mirrors they were using, the spell it would lock her away,  captive in her own mind unable to use her powers.  "Fight!" Raven shook her head, "I can't." She whispered brokenly, "YES THE f**k YOU CAN!" Raven fell to her knees as her body began to glow light purple consistently and Beast Boy pleaded with her, "Rachel come here! COME TO ME!" Grabbing a sigil he had found in her book, he threw it down and summoned Raven's body. Screaming Raven's body in Jump city broke free from the enchantments sending the men flying back. "AZARATH METRION ZINTHOS!"  Her raven grabbed the team and then they were being teleported through time and space and then landing painfully on a grassy slope.  Raven looked around blurry-eyed unable to move. Sensing someone coming towards the group, she smiled when she felt it was him. Passing out knowing he'd never let her get hurt, Raven fell unconscious smiling.
