Matt’s POV
I just finished overseeing warrior training for the morning. Zoe was teaching some martial arts to the newest warriors that had just turned eighteen and had just entered the pack. Alex and I were due for a sparring session where he was just going to kick my ass. Sparring with Ian was better because we were more evenly matched since we are both Betas.
Just as I suspected, I got my ass handed to me by Alex. We sat down in the shade to rest before we went for a second round. It was pretty warm this morning making it miserable outside. We were both sweating and panting from our first round.
“How is Tauriel doing?” Alex asked me while we recovered.
“Good. Two more weeks and we will have a pup in the house.”
“Are you excited?”
