~One year later
Things here at Red Moon have been going great and things have been quiet lately. Over the course of the past year our pack has increased to four hundred members. I felt like we were currently living in paradise with how well things have been going. The only thing missing from paradise was a pup for Alex and me. Sure we enjoyed the orphans and loved spoiling Katara, but we wanted one of our own. In reality we needed one of our own. Alex couldn’t be the last Alpha for Red Moon. That would end the pack.
I was losing hope when it came to getting pregnant and I knew Alex was too. I worried about what was going on and causing us to not be successful. I was getting impatient and I’m sure he could tell.
