(Dominic’s POV)
The weekend arrived, bringing with it the anticipated journey to the Stormveil Pack for Alpha Rylan’s wedding. The event promised to be grand, and I suspected Rylan might persuade us to extend our stay. To ensure our faction’s stability during our absence, I entrusted Skylar with leadership responsibilities. Meanwhile, I decided that Emily, our best fighter, would accompany us as added protection. Logan’s presence was also essential, given his role as my second-in-command.
Descending the stairs to the awaiting vehicle, I found Logan and Emily already prepared. Logan stood by the driver’s side, his fingers tapping impatiently on the car’s roof. Emily leaned against the passenger door, her sharp eyes scanning the surroundings.
