Lightening crackles behind her dark shadow, highlighting her bloody clothes and bruised skin. She is pulling at a rope, dragging something heavy behind her; she curses and laughs as she gets near the clearing in front of us. She places her hands on her hips, and look to the sky breathing heavily, her hair is a bloody mess, yet this is the most beautiful I have ever seen her.
"Beth what the f**k are you doing." Kendrick sneers, but she holds up her right index finger telling him to give her a minute. Whatever she is dragging must be heavy as f**k. She reaches down, picks up the rope, and continues to drag it....... correction the body to us.
"Sorry fellas, I am little late for the party."

"Setting him up...." That is all I could hear ringing in my head repeatedly, they were going to kill Nate and my brother. Grant it, the assholes had thrown me away like I was nothing, but I did not want them f*****g harmed. I had to warn them; I was so lost in my worrying about them that this little d**k prick punched me in the stomach. Luckily, I had not eaten today because I would have vomited everywhere, but when I say he knocked the wind out of me; I felt paralyzed. Then I reached down and realize he also stabbed me with a piece of glass. He took that moment, to pounce on top of me, and wrap his greasy hands around my throat.
"You predictable little b***h. So, love struck over some d**k, that you will die for it." I started to panic, I clawed at his hands, at his face; I was seeing spots and my face was getting numb again.
Sissy, just calm down and take a deep breath.
I took Lizzy’s advice, and allowed her to take over. She reached in our back pocked, grabbed the switch blade out, and quickly jabbed him under his armpit, in his side, and his thigh. He dropped off us like a sack of potatoes. We stood over him as he screamed and tried to scoot away,
“You should have killed us quickly, because now my sissy wants to play.” I knelt down beside him and get really close, Lizzy has gone to prepare, “I have kept her away for so long, now I am going to sit back and let her enjoy every little moment with her little toy.
“You are truly crazy.” Wallace yells.
“O, my dear, you have no idea.”

Even bloody and beaten she is still beautiful. Her movements seem so graceful she looks like she is gliding.
She is walking straight ahead with her eyes on Kadence.
“Momma are you hurt, are you okay.” Kadence tugs at Kendrick’s hold. Elizabeth continues to walk, then she places a finger to her lips telling Kadence to “Shhh.”
She stops a few feet from them, tilts her head and just stares. Kendrick breaks the silence.
“Beth, what happened to Wallace.”
It takes her a few minutes to respond, then she smiles.
“He did not want to play fair. He jumped me, and he stuck me.” She grabbed her right side where her shirt is soaked, my chest tightens with worry. For her health and her mental health. Something is off, her voice sounds…. different, creepy even.
“So, I showed him how to play fair.” She kicked the rug, and rolled out a man carved to perfection; joker smile and all.
When she heard Kendrick gagging, she covered her mouth and snickered.
“I wish I could have taken the time with her parents, but I was pressed for time on that day. “She whispered over her shoulder, De's facial expression showed several expressions of confusion.
“Now, let us address the issues at hand. “ She pulls out a pistol.
Pointing the gun at me, “You, will you please move closer to asshole number one? “ I walk over, keeping my eyes on them both.
“I am going to put you both on trial because you both have severely wronged me. And no Kendrick, I did not cheat on you. He had my doctor to place his eggs in me. Tell him!” She screams.
“It is true, your sperm were duds so I gave her what she always wanted. What you could not.” I say with a grin, hell even Kadence found it humorous.
I hear Kadence whence and I see his blade has broken the skin. I clench my jaw and prepare to lunge, until Kendrick stops me.
“If you make one f*****g move, I will slice her so deep you would think her head is coming off.” I try to hold back my tears; I look over and Elizabeth is staring at me.
“Kendrick let my daughter go. If you let her go, I will not shoot you, I swear. My beef is with him not you. “
“You must think I am a fool! I do not trust you! I tried to have you killed, now I am supposed to believe you do not want the same for me?” Now the rain has started to fall, f*****g great, this is officially the perfect scene.
“I have loved you from the moment I saw you working in your father’s club, you became an obsession. I told my father to buy that day, but your greedy uncle wanted your sweet cunt to himself. I did not want to murder you, but I knew once your real father found everything out that I was a dead man. So, I knew the kids was my only way out, but you could not live.”
“I understand Ken, I have always loved. I only wanted you to love me back.” What.the.holy.fuck.
She lowers the pistol and moves closer to him, the rain has started to wash the blood off of her gorgeous face, and my heart is breaking with each drop, and my world is shattering with each step that she takes towards him.
“Elizabeth, what the f**k are you doing.” De’ takes the words out of my mouth because I am totally speechless.
“Mommy, you cannot be serious, do not believe him.” Kadence is panicking.
I still cannot move, if she does not choose me, they may as well kill me today because my world is over. I cannot lose her again.
She gets less than arm length to him, “Elizabeth, you cannot f*****g do this to me!!” I yell, I am raging mad, I take a step forward ready to charge her, grab her, hell I actually do not even know anymore.
She lifts the nine milimeter, “Shoot him Beth!” Kendrick yells, “If you love me, end him, so that we can begin again.” Her hand is shaking, her lip quivers, I cannot tell if she is crying because it is pouring down raining. I stand straight up, chest out,
“If you are going to do, aim for the heart baby girl. At this point, there is nothing there anyway.”
She lowers the gun, “I cannot do it. Huh Ken you do it.” She sounds defeated, “I do not see how you all can shoot anyone.” He looks at her, making sure she will let him get the gun, grabs it, gives her Kadence and the blade.
“It is not an easy job baby; I understand if you cannot kill someone in cold blood.”
He laughs, ready to bask in his defeat, I stare at my one heart and my daughter. “I forgive you, and I will always love you.”
