Chapter 25 - The Unexpected Turn Of Events
I'm back at Alec's compound and I'm filled with dread. In the words of Sean, this whole mission has just gone from dangerous to suicidal to plain stupid. The plain stupid part being a reference to yours truly, who refuses to cut her loses and abandon the mission. I promised my godfather that I would help him, and damn it if I'm going to let him down. He's basically sacrificed his life to raise a kid that wasn't even his, forfeiting his chance at having his own family, and I owe him.
Once again, my team leader and friend, Sean, has left the decision in my hands. That's probably because Alec had plenty of opportunities to kill me, and he didn't, but still, I appreciate that I have a say in this. And what I said was that I'm not giving up, so here
