Everyone stood still and watched as the Alpha’s lifeless body collapsed to the ground. Everyone stood still for a moment, even the woods around us. Everyone’s eyes on me while my eyes were on the Alpha’s dead body lying at my feet. I waited for him to move or do something or show any sign of life but he didn’t move at all.
I could hear my heart thundering in my chest as this strange feeling took over me. I didn’t know what to was but it made me feel powerful all of a sudden. It made me feel as if I was at the top of the world. It made me feel as if I was in charge of everything and even though this feeling was new to me, I instantly felt addicted to it.
