“Tell me what else did you do at the pack? What was your life like in the pack?” I asked her next. My question instantly knocked the smile off her lips. She physically froze for a moment. It bewilderment me for a moment, especially this unknowing feeling that filled my chest through the bond.
I couldn’t quite name it. I didn’t understand what it was but the effect it was having on her was bad. I knew I wasn’t going to pleased by what I was about to find out but her reaction made it only more difficult.
