ELEIA’S POV

My head keeps on lolling to the side as my eyes fall shut .
I haven’t felt this type of exhaustion before in my life .
People use the phrase ‘worried to death’ when they are or were worried and I guess all of that makes sense now because it feels like I want to fall into a deep slumber and just never wake up .
The doctor comes out with a relieved expression and my hopes turn into peace .
“He is just fine . But the healing process can take up to three or more days .” The doctor nods before walking off and I feel healed .
Being free from pain and stress is also overwhelming , but it’s relaxing as well .
“Do you think we can go see him ?” The words fall from my lips as if I was sleep talking .
Everything feels so slow , so artificial .
“I think so .” Stefan murmurs bef
