I hadn’t decided if not seeing Rebecca at all or seeing her occasionally was better or worse. I wanted to see her when I didn’t, hell Craven da.mn near demanded it. But this seeing her for short amounts of time made us crave her more, especially Craven, who was already bad enough.
The damn dragon had turned into a fu.cking puppy, happy with any attention he could get from her. The first time she smiled at us genuinely, he damn near passed out before driving me crazy talking about it all day. About how pretty it looked and how she must like us now.
I was still confused about it all, but da.mn that didn’t stop my heart from fluttering when she did it. I wasn’t sure yet if that was a good or bad thing.
