Rebecca’s pov
Elder Liana came a couple of days after I buried my son to tell me what they had found out. It was nothing I had not already guessed. She told me that the sentencing would be in 2 days' time at my old pack and offered to take me if I wanted to go.
I politely declined, I was stronger than I was, but I had no urge to see any of them again even if it is to see them punished. I knew looking at them and hearing them talk would just add to the invisible wounds I was already carrying.
Liana understood. Apparently, Sirius and August were going to go to make sure justice was done on my behalf. Liana had done the same with her daughter in law, Augusts ex mate, so it wasn’t that unusual. Everyone is different.
