The next time I got on leave from the stakeout mission, I got a horrible surprise after leaving Mike’s side at the hospital and getting to work, I had pleaded for the pearl to still work on Mike that day and it had actually left us both exhausted, I just wanted to get to work, attend to a few things and then leave for home to get a well deserved rest in anticipation for the next day which we had chosen as the day to end the stakeout and bust up the alpha’s.
