I gasped in yet another pang of pain as the spirit of the pearl worked some more on Mike, it was my own day off from the stakeout and I had excused myself from tailing some of the werewolves as Sarah and Josey wanted to do, they could handle that by themselves so I gave the excuse of checking up on Mike and going to work to catchup on the happenings in the company to make sure that everything is going as it should, of course this excuse was genuine but then I intended to spend more time with Mike that at the company, I had been keeping in touch with the managers on call and chats and even once we had a video conference call and I had attended to every detail needed, I’m actually only going there so that my physical presence can be felt as well.
