Hazel's Pov.
The darkness lasted for a very long time. It felt like eternity as I continued to wander about until finally, I saw a glow.
It seemed so close yet so far away the more I approached it.
The more steps I took forward, the more the world around me brightened and then very soon, my eyes closed.
I was pulled into a very long long dream.
I saw Mom and Dad and Ryan... and me. We were all seated round a table.
Mom came behind me and placed a cake in front of me. I turned my head to look at her and she gave me the sweetest smile ever. Just like I remembered it.
I felt my heart melt and a drop of tears rolled down my cheeks as I held her hands.
