"Who lied to you?" I said and he chuckled, entering inside.
"Last time I checked, you were told not to move about" Logan pointed.
"I'm fine now" Raiden said and I glanced at him.
"What happened to you?"
"He was poisoned" Amelia answered.
"It's what you get for betraying Kieran" My eyes dulled when I remembered the video of him stabbing Kieran. It still hurt to think about it.
"I never betrayed him. I helped him Instead. I don't deserve that look you're giving me"
I glanced at Logan and he nodded at me in confirmation. My guess was right then. It was all part of Raiden's plan. Still...
I noticed how Logan and Amelia exchanged glances and then stood to leave with an excuse and a quick peg to my cheeks.
