“I'm beginning to believe that there's more than meets the eye!” I say to my friend Stella as we head inside the house.
“You are confusing me Bree, what do you mean by that?” she asks, concern etched all over her face.
“Beryl and Henry,” I state. “I think apart from seducing him, she used a strong charm on him!” I explain my fears.
“Come on Bree, stop overthinking!” she says as we take the staircase towards her bedroom. “I think she just seduced him and he fell for it!” she adds.
“Or maybe she bribed him or even his parents?” I pout as slump on my bed. This marriage thing between Beryl and Henry is beginning to seriously eat me up.
I mean, why her? How could it be? Henry wouldn't have chosen her over me without a valid reason. I am the most charming one...she's no match to me,
