My Angel

Davis Pov:

My beloved looked like a sleeping angel laying in her hospital bed it pained me seeing her hooked to those machines knowing she has suffered so much. My poor angel I wish I had found you sooner then you wouldn't have suffered so much. I wish I could just kiss her and make everything better like in sleeping beauty but that's just a fairytale "You were right she is so pretty", Jenny says as the others enter the room.

"She super nice to wait till you get to talk to her she's gonna make a great queen", Matt says look at my sleeping angel with pride shining in his eyes. "That is true I also believe she also has all the qualities to make a great queen", Andy adds as serious as ever. "My poor best friend why didn't you tell me", Lulu says as more tears form in her eye.

"One thing strikes me as odd still and haven't figured it out yet", Andy says confusion written on his face. "Yeah what is it", I ask curiously wanting to know. "The night you found her she knew we were vampires she's just a human how did she know", He asks truthfully I had been wondering the same thing.

"Yeah that's right she did she also somehow knew Davis is the prince", Matt adds. "Well she certainly an interesting human", Reed says standing at the door making his presence known.

"Well maybe she's half human mixed with something else", Jen says thinking. "No we'd be able to sense it if she was", I tell her. "Not if she's hiding it well enough you said she knew you guys were vampires but never once has she said anything about us being vampires and we have known her since forever", Lulu chimes in. "Just because she hasn't said anything about the two of you doesn't mean she didn't know", Andy says with a shrug.

"Look guys we'll figure it out later right now what matters is her getting better so I can get her home to where I know she'll be safe", I tell them. "Yes I agree as soon as she's well enough we need to get her home and then we'll deal with the Hunter's", Andy agrees. "In the mean time I'll stay close by when your not able to I will not fail my queen a second time", Matt declares making everyone's eyes fall to him.

After awhile everyone leaves which gives some much need alone time with me my angel. "Please angel wake up soon I need you with me", I whisper brushing the hair out of her face. Why did someone so beautiful have to suffer so much she's barely begun her life and she has been hurt by this world so much already. She so strong having silently suffered but still pushing forward not giving up when most would.

I had decided to call my mom and Dad I realized I hadn't called them yet since I found her and know my mother she is probably worried. It only rang twice before I heard my dad's voice full of authority like usual letting me know he was worried as well.

"Davis it's about time you call how is everything", My dad says. "Davis I wanna talk how is he did he find her when is he coming home", I hear mom start asking frantically making me laugh.

"Son I'm gonna put you on speaker so you can answer your mother's questions", Dad says amused by mom. "Davis Levi Caine how hard is it to pick up a phone", she starts. "Sorry mom I know I should have called but a lot has happened", I tell them.

"So you found her then", my dad asks and I hear mom squeal in excitement. "Yes I found her looking down at her sleeping form with a smile. "good then you'll be coming home then", dad states as more of a question.

"Oh I can't wait to meet her I bet she's lovely", Mom says excited and most likely bouncing. "Your right she is you'll love her but we'll staying a little longer", I tell my parents as the other end of the phone goes silent making me think they hung up.

"What's going on son I know something is", dad asks in a more serious tone then before. I sigh and explain everything that gone on so far.

"That poor girl how can one child go through so much", mom says sadly and I can tell she's crying. "As soon as she's well enough you need to get back here the hunters know about the two of you Reed's pack will become a target even more than it already is", dad says worried.

"I know dad Andy is making arrangements now I also think you should go ahead and send some warriors here we are allied with Reed after all and he has asked for help", I tell dad and wait for his answer. "Spoken like a true prince I will give the order as soon as we hang up tell Reed they'll be there in few days", dad says and I breath a sigh of relief. Reed annoys the hell out of me that much is true but he is a good alpha and ally. I spend a few more moments talking to my family answering my mothers questions as she asks them excitedly.

"Hey any change", Matt asks walking in with a tray of food. "No she's still asleep", I sigh wishing she would wake up I want to see her beautiful eyes. "Don't worry man I know she'll be okay I can feel it we have one strong future queen she's gonna do great things", he says looking at his future queen eyes shining with pride. "Oh brought you some food since we don't get American food that often", he says sitting down the tray on the small table next to me.

"Thanks I appreciate it", I tell him grateful I have such great friends.

Is someone playing with my hair I think as I feel fingers running through my hair. It feels so good I don't wanna move but wait who is touching me no one can but my beloved. Sudden I jolt up looking around frantically for any sign of an intruder. "I'm sorry you just looked so cute sleeping and your hair was so soft I couldn't resist I didn't mean to wake you", I hear an angelic voice say making my snap to hers.

I stare lovingly into the eyes I've been waiting to see open. "Davis please say something", she says shyly her cheeks turning pink as she breaks eye contact looking away. "My angel you have no need to apologize", I whisper kissing her hand happy she is awake again.
