Going Home

Davis's Pov:

I had called my father to let him know we would be returning home after we had returned to the packhouse. I had also canceled the date with my beloved. It was just not safe to take her out, but I planned on doing something special once we arrived home.

I hated canceling our date though it was just another consequence of the events surrounding my beloved. All I wanted was for her to be happy to see that beautiful smile on her face. After everything she has been through, she deserves to be happy.

So, needless to say, these past two days my mood has been rather sour. "Davis dude, I know your upset about your canceling your date but cheer up we're going home today", Matt says, happily making me grumble. "Leave him alone already he's in one of his moods and you know how that goes", Andy says walking in with Devin behind him.

"Where're the girls", Matt asks as I sit, thinking of all the ways I plan to hurt those who are the cause of my beloved pain. ", upstairs, finishing packing", Devin says, plopping down on one of the chairs.

"Seriously they've had two days. It took me like half an hour and I was done", Matt complains. "Just wait. your time is coming. One day you'll be waiting for a woman to", Andy replies, taking the seat next to me.

"So this is where everyone is", I hear Reed say as he walks in. "Still Mr.grumpy pants huh", He says poking my arm. "I wouldn't do that if I were you. It's best to just leave him when he's like this", Andy warns.

"He just needs to get laid then he'll be fine", Reed says, making me snap my head to him. "f**k, I think you broke my nose", I heard him say as I walked out of the room. "Well, we did warn you", is the last thing I hear Matt say.

I needed to cool off, so I decided to walk outside for a bit. It wasn't too long till I heard footsteps coming toward me. Of course, I knew who it was before she even spoke.

"Davis are you okay", my beloved Ally asks me. "Yes", I say, hoping she believes me. "No your not and I know it", she says, making me sigh. "Are you upset about the date or have I done something to make you angry", she asks the last part almost in a whisper.

I turned towards her, placing my hand under her chin and gently turning her head to look up at me. "You have done nothing wrong. I am not mad at you or anyone here. Well, maybe Reed, but he's an aggravation anyway", I told her, looking into those beautiful eyes of hers.

"Then why have you been angry these past two days", she asked, taking my hand in hers.

"I want you to be happy and it seems like every time I manage to put a smile on your face someone comes and tries to hurt you", I tell her. "It's true we've had a bad start, but you saved me if not for you, I would have been dead Jack would have killed me that night, and as for me being happy I am as long as I have you and everyone else I'll be happy I finally feel like I have a home again and it's all because you found me", she says with a smile as I just stand there looking at her letting her words sink in.

"Now let's go back inside you need to apologize to Reed for breaking his nose", She tells me trying to pull me back inside. "Do I have to", I ask her, not wanting to apologize. "Yes, you do you broke his nose for no reason". She says still trying to pull me inside. "Fine but first", I say, tugging her into my arms and kissing her, taking her by surprise, but it doesn't take long for her to wrap her arms around my neck and kiss back. "Okay, let's join the others", I tell her once we pull apart needing air. I keep her hand in mine as we walk back inside and see Jenny and Lulu have joined the guys.

"I take it by the s**t-eating grin on your face, that you're in a better mood now", Andy asks, smirking. I look down at Ally and see her blushing, making me smile more. "Okay, something definitely happened", Lulu says excitedly.

" You know I think I like moody and grumpy you better. That smile is just creepy", Reed says with a shrug. "I think I like your nose broken better, shall I fix it", I tell him. "Stop now no more fighting, both of you apologize now", my little soulmate says, tapping her foot impatiently.

"Fine I'm sorry you're an i***t which resulted in your nose getting broken", I said, making Ally glare at me. "Alright fine I'm sorry I broke your nose", I, muttered. "Wow never thought I'd see the day Davis Caine would apologize to little old me", Reed says. "Don't be an ass Reed", his beta tells him. "Fine I'm sorry too", he says before walking out of the room. "Is he still mad", my love asks from next to me.

"No he never was he just likes to be an ass", Cole tells her before following his alpha.

"Okay, now that Davis is no longer the angry prince, are you girls ready because our plane should be ready to go so we need to head to the airport", Andy asks, looking over to Jenny. "Yes, everyone's packed and ready to be loaded and we can be on our way", She tells him making him nod in response.

"Good you girls go to the cars, Matt, you go with them while the rest of us get the bags," I told them, heading for the stairs. Within just a few minutes, we were on our way to the airport. I could tell my angel was getting nervous the closer we got. " Love what's wrong", I asked her, hoping she wasn't having second thoughts.

"What if your family doesn't like me", she asks, looking down at her feet. " Are you crazy everyone is gonna love you", Lulu says before I can even answer. "She's right love. My family already loves you", I tell her, taking her hand and leading her onto the plane.

"Alright, bags are all stowed away let's get this show on the road", Devin yells as he and Andy board the plane. " I agree it feels good to be going home", Andy says taking his beside Jenny.

"Yeah, I can't wait to get back to Rosie", Matt says, no doubt missing my sister. "Soon you'll be back to tea parties and dolls", I snicker. " We all know if Ally told you to go to a tea party you would go", he says as we all strap in ready to take off. " He's right Davis if any of the girls asked us we would were all wrapped around their fingers", Andy responds smiling at Jenny.

Before I can respond, I feel the plane take off and Ally's hand grips mine tighter. "First time on a plane", I ask her, squeezing her hand to comfort her. "Yeah, I've never been anywhere really all the trips I remember taking with my mom and dad we always drove", She tells us.

"Well don't worry, our pilot has years of experience", Andy says with a kind smile. " Yeah no worries, take off is the worst part and to tell ya the truth, I don't particularly like flying either", Matt tells Ally. "You're scared to fly", she asks looking over at him. "No not really scared I just don't like usually I don't go if we're flying somewhere there's just something unnatural about it", he says with a shrug.

"Don't worry love it won't be long till we land with good whether we'll be there in a few hours", I tell her making her smile.

"It feels good to be going home. It'll be nice to see everyone", Lulu says, smiling. "Yeah, can't wait to see mom and dad", Devin says, smiling.

"How long has it been since you two have been home", Ally asked him and Lulu. "Probably about fifty or so years, we wanted to explore the world and see what was out there. Then we met you and felt drawn to you. Now we know why", Lulu says, smiling, making her feel kinda bad she kept them away from their family. "Hey, I know that look stop feeling guilty. We chose to stay here by your side your our friend and friends stick together. Besides, its normal for vampires to stay gone from home for awhile, especially the younger vamps", Lulu explains.

"She's right had we really been homesick. We could have gone at anytime. We had a lot of fun exploring, then we met you and everything clicked. You were the third member of our little party.", Devin explains further.

"So how did you guys meet our future queen", Matt asked with excitement dancing in his eyes. "We hadn't been in New York long, maybe a day or so,, we were debating on staying and if we did whether or not to attend school. Devin was against the idea of coarse", Lulu says, giggling, making Ally smile at the memory of how they met.

"Well, can you blame me? That place is horribly boring. The only things that made that place fun were my beloved, Ally, and the occasional fight", Devin says, making us all look at him. "What I like, a good fight who doesn't", he asks, shrugging his shoulders.

"Most normal people", Andy tells him bluntly. "Dude we're vampires and she's a descendant of two warriors who served the Moon Goddes whats normal about that", Devin responds back. "He's got you there we're definitely not normal", I laugh making my sweet giggle next to me.

"Hey you guys are getting off topic. I wanna hear how you guys met Ally", Matt whines. "Oh yeah sorry anyway we decided to go for a walk in the park one night", Lulu says. "Well, technically we didn't decide to go, more like we felt a pull, something just telling us to go", Devin says with a shrug. "Yeah that's right I forgot about that anyway when we got to the parl we could hear someone singing it was so beautiful", Lulu says as Devin nods in agreement.

I looked down at my love to see a tiny blush on her face at Lulu's compliment. "We were so captivated by the voice we had to check it out", Devin explains. "Once we made it to the bridge there she was staring into the sky it was like she was singing to the Monn Goddess herself and she was shining some spotlight on she was literally glowing",

Devin says waving his hands around. "Wow really so cool I wanna hear you sing my queen", Matt yells bouncing in his seat making Ally hide her face in my side embarrassed.

"And that, my friends, is how we met and the rest is history", Lulu says, smiling.

"Attention, my passengers, please make sure your seats are in an upright position and your seat belts are fastened. We will be landing soon", our pilot announced. "Alright everyone, you heard the man, let's get ready to land", I tell everyone checking to make my love and myself are safely fastened.

Once I know we are I can tell she is getting nervous, though I'm not sure if it's because of the plane or the fact she is about to meet my family. Regardless of the reason, I take her hand in mine, giving it a gentle squeeze, trying to reassure her all is fine.

She looked up at me with a smile and I knew right then I would do anything for this girl without even trying. She had already won my heart. However, I knew things weren't gonna be easy for us.

There will be enemies coming for us from all directions and some will be closer to home than others. However, no one will ever hurt my love ever again, even if it means I have to let that side of me out. I just pray she doesn't hate me once she meets the monster that dwells within me.
