Finding Her

True to his word dad had indeed called The Red Night Pack and I was glad to finally be away from Reed Knight. He is a great alpha don't get me wrong but he loves to piss me off I tolerate him because he is one of the few people who pays zero attention to me being a prince.

"Dude how much longer are we gonna be out tonight I have a bad case of jet lag", Mat whines. "Shut up Mat we'll stay out as long as possible this is our best friends beloved we are talking about. We had started searching the moment we had gotten everything settled at the hotel my family owns. Jenny had opted to stay at the hotel.

I was about to give up for the night when I saw a small figure walk into the park that was up ahead of us. Fate was whispering in my ear to follow the small figure. "Andy I want you and Mat to follow at distance", I say ignoring their questions. My only goal was to follow the small human I had just seen. I already knew she was the one I was looking for.

I watch as she takes a sit on the swings I close my eyes inhaling her scent that cool breeze blew my way. Before I realize what I'm doing I find myself sitting in the swing next to her. I sat there for a few moments watching her stare at the stars. "

Beautiful night for a walk don't you think", I say face palming myself for saying something so stupid. "Yes I love nights like this", she answers back still staring at the night sky's beauty. I swear I could look into her eyes for eternity as her green eyes twinkle like the stars.

"I do to but I do have to ask isn't it a little dangerous being out here alone", I ask wondering why her parents let her. I watch as a startled look appears on her face for only a moment before it is place with one of recognition.

"I see by the look on your face you recognize my voice", I say back and inwardly smile that she remembers me from the dreams. She doesn't say anything just turns to look at me with those big green eyes. When we lock eyes I know instantly she is mine it's as if the world stops turning. She is truly beautiful I make a silent promise to myself to do everything I can to make her happy.

"Please don't hide your blush from little one", I tell her with a smile. "You don't know how long I've been waiting for you", I continue. "Now please allow me to walk you home and if it is your wish I will take you away from here all you need do is say yes and take my hand", I tell her. All the while I keep praying to the goddess she says yes if not I truly don't know what I'll do.

"Yes please I wanna go with you", she says shyly making my smile grow. "I promise I will never hurt you", I tell her placing a kiss on her small hand. "What is your name beautiful min is Davis Caine", I ask while walking in the direction of her home. "My name is Alisha Ravenwood, but you can call me Ally", she says.

"Um Davis can I ask you something", she says shyly making me smile at how cute she is. "Yes you can ask me anything beautiful", I tell her making her blush again.

"How long are those other two vampires gonna follow us", she asks making me stop and stare down at her in shock. How did she know about Andy and Mat following behind us they were far enough back not to be noticed by any human so how did she know.

Also how did she know they were vampires I hadn't even told her I was one yet.

"How did you know we were vampires and how did you know they were following us", I ask her still in a state of shock. "As far as I can remember I've always been able to just tell things mom used to say I was a sensitive a child", she says with a shrug.

"You mean like you can see ghosts", I ask her wondering if she's psychic or maybe a witch. " Sort of mother just said I was special but not to tell people but I feel like I can trust you", she tells me making me smile that she trusts me enough to tell me.

"The other vampires are they friends of yours", she asks with a slightly worried expression. "Yes love they are there is no need to worry would you like to meet them", I tell her making her nod. "You guys can come out and meet my love", I say knowing I don't need to shout.

Mat was the first to reach us a goofy grin on his I knew they were both happy for me. "Hello I'm mat nice to meet you", he says almost jumping with excitement. "Um uh nice to meet you to I'm ally", she tells him shyly shrinking into my side to hide.

"You need to calm down can't you see your scaring the poor girl", Andy scolds him before turning to face us. "My name is Andy and it is a pleasure to meet you", he says with a bow. "You don't need to bow I'm not that important", she says looking at the ground. Oh little one you don't know how wrong you are I think to myself knowing I'll have to tell her soon.

"This is my house", she says as we stop in front of a little blue house. "Okay can we trade numbers", I ask her wanting to talk to her more. "That would be impossible", she says making me frown and feel a twinge of pain shoot through me. "Okay", I say sadly before turning to walk away.

"Wait Davis", she call out grabbing my arm sending a warm feeling through me. "I didn't say that because I don't wanna talk to you I told you I'd go with you It's just well I don't have a phone", she says that last part almost to quiet to hear like she's ashamed.

"Oh okay here you can use mine I'll just borrow Andy's or Mat's till we get you one", I tell her with a smile. "I don't take your phone what if someone important calls", she says hesitant to take the phone. "if it's important they can leave a voice mail and I'll talk to them tomorrow so here", I tell her handing her the phone.

"Thank you when will I see you again", she asks blushing slightly making her look adorable. "How about tomorrow we can get ice cream after school", I tell her watching her face light up. "Okay but I'll have to go home first and do chores but I can meet afterwards", she says but I notice a twinge of fear in here eyes as she mentions going home first. "Okay just let me know when you are free to go now go on in and get some rest", I tell her kissing the top of her head.

I watch as she walks over to the tree and climbs it making her way to her window before disappearing inside. So she had snuck out I kind of figured since it had been so late at night and most humans don't let their children out this late.

I was glad she had snuck out though if she hadn't then it would have taken longer to find her. I had only just met her and she had me wrapped around her little finger but I couldn't be happier. There are some things that concerned me though.

First her being in the park alone in the middle of the night but I had an answer to that she had simply snuck out. Two why when she mentioned her mom why did she use past tense? I will have to wait for an answer on that I will not force her to tell me. Three where did she get those bruises on her wrist I only saw them for a split second. She mostly kept them covered by the oversized hoodie she wore,.

Sure its getting colder out but it's not cold enough for a hoodie yet. Lastly if she is covering those bruises does she have more to hide. All I know is if someone has hurt my beautiful little soul they'll pay the price with their life. As long as she is with me no one will hurt her ever again.

"Andy find out what school she goes to see who we have available in the area I want a protection detail on her at all times when were not around", I tell him knowing my eyes are blood red with how angry I am.

"I take you saw the bruises as well my prince", Mat says walking up next to me. "Yes and some one will pay", I tell him ominously. "I agree no one will touch the queen I swear it with my life", Mat says darkly looking at the moon.

It's then I notice the blood dripping from his wrist where his nails have dug into his skin. Right then I know my third has pledge his life to guard his queen. Something like this has not happen since the reign of great grandfather. However no vampire has ever pledged their life to protect a human this is a first but I couldn't be more proud.

My princess has her guardian someone who will protect her always when I'm not there. As for me well after all this time waiting I have my queen. The one who will stand by my side when I take the throne.
