My Prince

Alisha's Pov:

Once I climbed back through the window I couldn't believe the rush of excitement I felt. He was actually here he was real and he wants me. I know most people would tell me I was crazy for wanting to leave and go with three strange guys but I know they won't hurt me. I can't explain it but I just know they won't and besides even if I was wrong and they did no one would really miss me.

I fell on to my bed and felt a buzzing in my pocket right the phone he gave me. I took it and swiped the screen like I had seen other kids at my school do. I couldn't help the smile that appeared on my face as saw I his message.

Davis: I know you need sleep so I won't keep you awake but I had to message at least one before you fell asleep. I am so happy we found each other I have waited so long to find you will there is a diner not far from here could we possible meet there tomorrow I know you have questions.

Me: Yes, we can meet but it'll have to be after school and I have chores I'll have to do at home first but I can meet once I'm done.

Davis: That works out perfect I have somethings I need to do in the morning anyways just message me when you ready I'll send Mat to pick you up. Oh and I can't wait to see you again it may sound a bit strange since we just met but I already miss you. Until tomorrow my little one goodnight and I hope you the sweetest dreams.

Me: Goodnight Davis looking forward to tomorrow I hope you have good dreams as well.

I laid my head on my pillow that night and for once in my life I wasn't afraid of what might happen tomorrow. Instead I found myself looking forward to waking up it didn't take long for me to fall asleep and that night I did have good dreams of my vampire prince.

As soon as my alarm sounded I hurried and made breakfast and got dressed not wanting to run into my foster parents. I headed for school knowing that what awaited me once I got there but I had hope people would leave me alone for the day.

"You can come out you know there's no need to just follow", I tell the vampire following me. "How did you know I was following you", he asks walking over to me. "I don't know it's a gift your one of Davis's friends right", I ask recognizing him. "Yep the names

Mat the other guy was Andy", he explains as we continue walking. "Oh Andy's beloved Jenny is with us as well you'll meet her later though", he continues.

"Hey Mat why are you following me exactly", I ask him curiously. "Well I'm your guard and that's all I can say right now the reason you need a guard is for Davis to tell you", Mat vaguely explains. "He's not a normal vampire is he he's the prince right", I say more as a statement than a question.

"Hey how did you know that", he asks having stopped pointing his finger at me making me stop to. "Well you all have this aura of power about you but Davis's is different I can't really put it into words that well but I guess if I had to use one to describe his it would be regal", I sigh wishing I could explain it better.

"You have got to be the most interesting human I have ever met", Mat says with a smile as we continue walking. "So are you just gonna follow me around all day", I ask him. "Yes but I'm not following I'm guarding", he tells me. "Right okay but you know since your not a student you can't enter the school", I tell him. "Yeah we thought of that or rather Davis did", he laughs.

"okay bye then", I say and head into the building making my way to my locker. Like usual my luck is not the best. Yep not the best as I get slammed into the lockers feeling a sharp pain in my back I look to see Claire and her friends standing in front of me.

"Watch where your going freak or I'll make you", she says raising her hand to slap my face. Before she can impact though. Lulu comes out of know where catching Claire's hand with a smirk on her face. "I wouldn't get involved if I were you", Devin tells Steven who was approaching us.

"Didn't anyone ever teach you it's not nice to hit people Claire", Lulu say letting go but still wearing her signature smirk. "But if it's the b***h game you wanna play then I'm game", she continues making Claire glare at her hatefully. "Whatever this isn't over freak your friends can't protect you all the time", she says before her and her friends stomp away.

"Seriously Ally this early trouble just finds you doesn't it but are you okay you hit pretty hard", Lulu says looking concerned. "Yes I'm fine It will probably leave a bruise but that's all", I tell her as we continue to my locker. "You should really look into learning how to fight", Devin chimes in from behind us. "I don't like violence", I tell him a shrug taking my books from my locker.

"I don't either but protecting those I care for is reason enough for me the point is sometimes you have to but that's just how I think", he replies walking away. "He's not wrong ya know but there's other ways to fight without using violence", Lulu adds with a smile.

"Oh by the way I please could I borrow your notes from yesterdays math class", she asks. "You didn't do your homework did you", I say knowing my best friend. "No", she says dropping her head down.

School goes by rather quickly with no more trouble and I rush home excited to see Davis and praying Angela isn't home. For once my prayers are answered when I find a note on fridge again saying they wouldn't be home till late and specifying what she wants cleaned. I quickly do it before rushing upstairs to get cleaned up I have no homework since I usually do mine in my free period.

Unlike he was earlier instead of hiding I find Mat sitting on my front steps. "Ready to go Davis is waiting", he says smiling. "Let's go", I tell him smiling back ready to see him again. Even though we just met he has my trust.
