67 - Moving Forward

Savannah     I woke-up covered in sweat after having a horrible nightmare.  Reliving the moment when that disgusting rogue tried to put his mark on me was absolutely terrifying.     While making it a point to be quiet, I climbed out of bed and made my way to the bathroom, then I splashed cold water in my face.  As I looked at my reflection in the mirror, one thought kept running through my mind… this long hair had to go.  I was fed up with despicable men using my hair against me.     After retrieving the scissors from my art supplies, I returned to the bathroom and started chopping my hair off, shortening it to a few inches from my scalp while sourly grumbling, “Never again!  You wouldn’t let me cut my hair before, but look at me now, father.”     When I was done with the hack job on m
