When Winter woke up, she was no longer in the room at the rogue’s camp. Instead, she was in her bedroom inside the Atlas Pack’s packhouse.
The last thing she remembered was seeing Julian take Amelia away, and she had no idea how she had gotten back to the pack.
Her body was sore as she got off the bed and walked to the bathroom. As she took a shower, she tried to make sense of what had happened.
Julian wouldn’t really leave her in the hands of the rogues and choose to save Amelia alone, right? He must have lied to the rogues to lower their guard and then came back to save her. That must be how she had gotten back to the packhouse.
