After her disastrous meeting with Alpha Wesley, Amelia drove straight home. Her phone rang a few times with calls from Blue and Arthur, but she ignored them.
She had not spoken to either of them since that night of the dinner with their two families. She knew that if they panicked, they would ask for Julian’s help.
Julian would not ignore her then, would he? He always came to her side whenever she was in trouble. She had thought he would have called her by now, but he hadn’t.
She refused to believe that he had abandoned her completely. He would come for her, right?
Thinking about Julian only reminded her of how he had treated her that night, and it made her all the more angry. When she got home, she rushed into the house, slamming the front door shut behind her.
