Locked up? Like they are in jail? How long have they been in jail?
How long has Blaze hidden this information from me?
How long has our house been sitting empty?
"How?" I grit out, the rage pulsing through me makes me hot, "How what?", "How are they in jail?" I snap.
Is it so difficult to understand what I want to know?
"I put them there,", "On what charge?" I snap. I'm not being protective- I am furious.
Furious because no one told me they were locked away, and it doesn't matter that they are, because I would never go back there, but it would have been more peaceful to fall asleep at night.
"Drug abuse, drug possession, and assault." his eyes soften as he says assault, and I know he pitied me the night he saved me.
