AERILYN'S POV -- I didn't want to believe that I would die here, but as the sun goes down and the moon is the only thing that lights up this icy house, I start to believe that Monty had forgotten about me, or he's simply just going to leave me here to die. My stomach twists and turns from hunger, my mouth is as dry as the desert, and I can barely hold my bladder much longer. A sudden thud in my surroundings makes me sit up, "Monty?" I yell, "Are you back?" I ask out loud, but the silence that follows is what makes me anxious. I can hear the thud of footsteps, and my heart starts to race, "Monty? This isn't funny!" I yell, and I hate how I can hear the fear in my own voice. It shakes, just like my hands. The footsteps become slower, and louder, and I know whoever it is, is close enoug
