Mae got to her feet and moved to the door. She couldn’t stay in the baby’s room forever. She had to face Larson if they were going to figure some things out. “Mae,” Mystic said stopping her. She got to her feet and placed the baby in his cot. She walked to her. “If you need to figure some things out, I could ask for Larson to be given his own room to give you time.” Mae wanted that. But she knew that wasn’t going to help her. Distance from him would only make her think there was something there, when there might not be. She needed to figure everything out with him. He must have the same misgivings as she did. They needed to figure everything together so that they could move on. If he was her mate she wanted to be fully committed to him, without any doubt. “No. I think we should talk,”
