Christina got back to her territory in the blink of an eye. The trees around her. The scent that lingered. The sound made by the busy members of her pack. All of these told her that the teleportation is a success.
As for the crystal that she used, only a powdered version of it remained in her hands. Just as her master said, the item is really limited to a single time use. Something which can be doubled if she would come back from the same point she teleported from.
That’s exactly what Christina did. She doesn’t regret that she has to use the item so early on. Seer has always told her to utilize her items and equipments well. And Christina could think of no better application for the crystal than what she just did.
