"Well, that was surprisingly pleasant," Carter's hearty chuckle filled my ears as we arrived back at the hotel. My nod was probably unseen by my four companions as I unlocked the door. I opened it, remaining in the doorwat silently as the kids jumped onto the bed, dragging James along with them. I placed the empty food basket onto the table and made my way back to the door.
"I am going to go buy some things for dinner. I shall be back soon," I smiled weakly.
