Theo's POV
I walk into Laila's parents' apartment mid-morning after training, showering, and changing clothes. Rebecca is sitting at the table, scrolling through her phone. "Morning." I wave.
"Morning, Alpha Theo." Rebecca sets the phone down and smiles at me. "Congrats, by the way!"
"Thanks." I awkwardly smile. "Is Laila awake?" I asked, pointing towards the hallway her room was in.
"No. I don't know what you and she did yesterday, but before bed last night, she and I talked and said her brain was tired. So whatever you did mentally exhausted her." Rebecca chuckles.
"We didn't do too much. She asked me why I don't hang around as much as before, and I tried to explain to her what I'm doing when I'm not with her. I don't know how much she understood." I explain.
