Theo's POV
"Theo, wake up!"
I shoot out of bed, looking around to find where the voice is coming from. "Alpha Theo! Get up," Reid says in my head, sounding worried. Isn't he on border patrol tonight? Are we under attack?
"I'm awake." I mindlink back.
"Finally! Something's wrong. It's Laila. Get to the hospital now!" he says.
"What's wrong with Laila?" I panic, throwing on pants and a shirt before running out of the room at full speed.
As soon as I'm in the hospital lobby, I see her whole family standing around the entrance, nervously pacing, sitting, and crying.
"What happened? Where's Laila?" I ask, looking around for her.
"Theo." Rebecca walks over, throwing her arms around me in a hug. "I'm so sorry," she sniffles.
