A few weeks later…..
Life is pointless. My world was ripped out from under me. Suddenly and unexpectedly.
I don't understand how it happened. When I put her to bed that night, she was fine. We had a perfect day together. By morning, she was dead. Gone. And there was nothing I could do to save her.
I've been trying to do my job and lead this pack, but how can I lead a group when I feel aimless?
Most days, though, I end up just sitting in the wildflower field next to where we buried the love of my life, Laila.
"I miss you so much." I sigh, looking at the small cross marking her grave.
After a long moment, I sighed and started getting to my feet. I hate leaving her…. But I haven't eaten in a few days, and I need to before Ren catches on and harasses me. Annoying f**k won'
