Callum I kept an eye on both Conrad and Kitty as we all waited for her response. “Do you understand, Kitty?” I asked gently. I didn’t want to interrupt, but I wanted to make sure that she understood what Conrad had told her. She glanced over at me and slowly nodded. She understood, but how did she feel about it? That was the question.
