I walked into Axel’s bedroom wardrobe and noticed that all his belongings were piled on one side, while mine were neatly organized on the other. I grabbed my pajamas and made my way to the bathroom, shutting the door behind me. Once in the shower, I scrubbed myself down at least three times, including my hair. I felt utterly gross and grimy, realizing it had been far too long since my last bath. But considering my situation, it wasn’t that surprising; after all, I was being held captive.
