After I went back inside, I made my way upstairs to my bedroom. I took a refreshing shower and changed into some respectable clothes. Once I was ready, I headed down to the office. I had given the packhouse staff the day off, but I wasn't sure if it was the right call since I didn’t know if he would be coming home today. He was likely still upset with me, perhaps waiting to cool down before returning. I really had no idea.
