Every event at the castle came with its own dress code. The dress I wore during the day simply wouldn’t cut it for dinner, so I needed to switch to something more formal. After getting ready, I left my bedroom and began making my way to the dining hall on the first floor, with Ivory leading the way since I knew I wouldn’t be able to find it on my own. As we walked, I noticed a room with the door slightly open and heard two men arguing inside. I hesitated for a moment to listen, but Ivory seemed a bit uneasy about stopping. I quickly placed a finger to my lips to signal her to be quiet; I didn’t want the men to hear us. "Listen, we have the princess right here. What more do you want?" one of them asked. "It's not enough to just have her in our possession. If we want to stay in the King's
