We walked through the woods towards the packhouse and I couldn't believe the destruction of the entire town that had happened. In one day, the home I had grown up in was completely gone. There were still buildings standing, but they weren't usable. Homes were destroyed. Businesses. And I wasn't sure if anything was salvageable.
