"Do you have any idea what kind of trouble you’re in for trespassing on our land?" I asked as the rogue drew closer, clearly trying to intimidate me.
"Nobody patrols this far south," he said with a smug grin. "I’ve been watching for a while now. Waiting."
"Waiting for what?" I asked, arms crossed, unimpressed.
"For someone like you to wander out here alone. I figured eventually some curious teenager would show up. I just didn’t think I’d get lucky with someone as hot as you," he said, now inches from me.
