Nova’s P.O.V
The midwife’s wheeled me back into the room once I had cleaned up and put fresh PJs on. I was sore and exhausted. I was ready for sleep but I wanted to spend more time with my baby girl. Introduce her to her new family. I couldn’t believe how perfect she was. It was still a strange feeling knowing Brandon and I created her. When I arrived back in the room I was met was the sweetest scene. Brandon was asleep on the chair. Sofia in his arms sound asleep too. I felt the tears build in my eyes at how perfect that picture was. I grabbed my phone, taking a couple of photos of them.
“Typical, the mother does all the work and the father is the one that falls asleep getting cuddles.” One of the midwife’s laughing.
She was only messing around, and it made the rest of us laugh.
