Alpha Sebastian’s POV
We pull up along the side of the road and I get out to open the door for Emma.
“We have to walk from here. We don’t want to scare him off.”
She nods in understanding and we begin the short walk to the hunting cabin through the dark forest.
As we are walking I look down at Emma and examine her attire carefully.
“Emma… you have no shoes on. I can carry you if you want?” I offer genuinely.
She smiles and shakes her head.
“No… I don’t even feel the cold. Not anymore, I’m used to it.”
Just then, Ivan and his warriors come into view up ahead.
When planning the take down of the lab, I knew I needed someone I could trust to stay here and watch over Nick.
I never would have guessed weeks ago that Ivan would be someone I would regard as having my trust… yet he
