As my lips leave his I feel more confused than ever.
I’m torn between my desire to know who I am and my want for him.
He’s everything any woman could ever want in a man.
Intelligent, respectful, caring and strong and the way he is looking at me right now… it breaks my heart.
I stand up slowly from the bench and he takes my hand in his gently before leading me back inside through the pack house.
My heart thuds in my chest as we make our way down the corridor and a million thoughts rush through my mind, combining as one to create this blur…this overwhelming, anxious feeling that makes me want to run for the hills. To disappear to somewhere quiet where I can be alone to sort through my feelings on this mess that is my life.
