Alpha Sebastian’s POV
I watch as the phone drops from her hand, bouncing off of the wooden floor with a clatter.
In that moment it’s like the world flips on its head.
All of the elation, the relief, the f*****g sheer joy I felt only a moment ago disappears as quickly as it came.
“No no wait… it can’t be true. It’s not f*****g true. He would have mentioned it before now!” I state in anger.
Summer staggers backwards and Natalia guides her down onto a chair.
“It’s not true!” I repeat in anger as Aiden places his hand on my shoulder.
I try to regain control of my wits, to let go of the anger that is threatening to take hold of me but I’m barely hanging on by a thread.
