What just happened? Emma’s mind came back to reality, and she tried to pull away from him.
“Where are you going?” He groaned.
“I… I have to attend to my guests.” Emma tried to calm down.
“That’s fine, I will come with you.” Christiaan grinned, making her frown.
“Why?” She sighed.
“Say it.” He started, but this time before he could harass her any further and without Emma being able to stop the word from flowing out of her mouth.
“Mate.” Her eyes popped wide open as she said it. “How did you do that?” She pointed her index finger at him, then decided to turn the tables on him.
“Say it!” Emma lost her patience and he grinned at her.
“Mine! You are mine.” He pulled her up close to him again, crushing his lips down on hers, and she felt her body melt up against him.
