Sienna: I noticed it immediately. And no matter how hard I tried to ignore it, pretend that it did not exist, pretend that it was only in my head, I couldn’t. Damon was hovering. And he was being too obvious about it, annoying, and even rude. At first, I thought it was just coincidence. That he was simply there by chance, by obligation, by whatever excuse I could come up with to convince myself that he wasn’t actively doing it. I wanted to believe that he had things to be taking care of, and that was why he was around me. But as the days passed, I realized I was wrong. I realized that I was being nothing more than a fool to think that it was a mere coincidence. He wasn’t just there. He was making sure that I was never alone. He was making sure to monitor everything that I was doing
