I do not look back and I run to the nearest taxi that I can find it. I ask him to take me to the hospital as soon as possible. I feel my heart racing like something is chasing me to get to Liam. I sit in the taxi on my way to the hospital when suddenly I realize that I am home. I can not help the smile that is forming on my face as I realized that there might be a chance I get to see my family again. I never thought I would be able to see them so soon again.
All the good memories that I have of my family are the stuff that I am treasuring. I think about my time with my dad on the ranch and how I used to help him with the cattle. I think of the time that I spend with my mom in the kitchen making Christmas cookies for the extended family.
